Bowled the 2nd night of the Base Championships last night. Going into
last night, I was in 2nd place with a 1410.  I bowled good last night,
but not as good as the 1st 6 game set.  I felt like I was going to drop
out of the top 5, and not qualify for the match play.  I bowled a 217,
227 239, 238, 184,245 for a 1350 series for 6 games and a 2760 overall
(12 games).  I ended up qualifying 3rd, and I ended up losing my match
play game 233-237, to finish the tournament in 4th place.

We had the 1st night of the Scoot AFB Base Championship this evening,
and I did better than I expected.  The only game that I had problems
with was the 2nd game.  I left 2 pocket 7-10 splits, and chopped the
3-6-10 spare in the 10th frame.  (Missing the spare in the 10th frame
cost me one of the brackets.)  My 6 game series was 243, 190, 266, 266,
208, 237 for a 1410 6 game series (235 avg).  The lanes were pretty
toasted the last 2 games.  I just need to remember to not rush my
approach when I have have to roll the ball faster.  We have to bowl 6
more games tomorrow night, and then the top 5 bowlers will have a roll
off.
